My name is Steven Pereda, and I am an undergraduate at CCNY majoring in Mechanical Engineering. This portfolio contains my work for English 11000. Throughout my assignments, I attempted to write in a way that makes it easy to read and understand. During this semester, I refined my method of writing and learned new techniques for writing persuasive essays. I dislike being forced to read complex and long articles, and so I desired to be as efficient as possible when writing informative essays. Although there is much room for improvement, I believe my writing techniques are maturing. Even if it is a near insignificant step to perfecting my writing, I still believe that it will help along the way.
